We understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, amendments and refunds are handled for bookings made with MY GETAWAY.
Cancellation charges are calculated from the date we receive written cancellation notice, as a percentage of the total package cost:
Airline tickets, visa fees, and other non-refundable third-party costs already paid on your behalf are excluded from any refund, regardless of notice period.
In the rare event we must cancel a tour (e.g. insufficient group size, safety concerns, or supplier withdrawal), we will offer a full refund or an alternative package of equal value, at your choice.
Date or traveller-name changes made more than 15 days before departure are treated as an amendment (nominal admin fee applies) rather than a cancellation. Changes within 15 days may be treated as a fresh cancellation.
Eligible refunds are processed to the original mode of payment within 7–14 working days of cancellation confirmation, subject to processing times of banks or payment gateways.
